Agata Smeralda Project will donate Sister Enza Ferrara, MD, of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Child Jesus, important medical equipment for the care of children with heart disease. These instruments have been purchased from "Agata Smeralda" Esaote at Florence, to be dedicated to the health post of "Mission: Albania - Opera Madonna del Grappa" founded by Don Carlo in the service of poor and directed by Sister Enza.

Agata Smeralda Project will donate Sister Enza Ferrara, MD, of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Child Jesus, important medical equipment for the care of children with heart disease. These instruments have been purchased from "Agata Smeralda" Esaote at Florence, to be dedicated to the health post of "Mission: Albania - Opera Madonna del Grappa" founded by Don Carlo in the service of poor and directed by Sister Enza.
The donation ceremony will begin at 16.45 in the Basilica of San Marco with a prayer service presided over by Bishop Claudio Maniago, Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Florence, at the tomb of George La Pira, and will continue in the "Sala Pietro Annigoni" the Convent of San Marco - Via Cavour, 56 - to 17.00.
will be present and intervene to remember Don Carlo, as well as Auxiliary Bishop G. Corso, Opera President Madonna del Grappa, Hon. Carlo Casini, President of the Constitutional Rights of the European Parliament, Sister Enza Ferrara and Dr. arket Pllumi, doctors at the health center of Shkodra that come specifically from Albania. There will be also the young students at the family home "Villa G.", directed by Don Carlo, with whom he had established a strong bond.
Also in memory of Don Zaccaro, on the occasion, the Agata Smeralda Project Mgr Guicciardini also deliver a sum of money to support the professional schools of the "Madonna del Grappa Mission Opera" in Guadalajara Jurema (Fortaleza) in Brazil.
Prof. Mauro Barsi, President of Progetto Agata Smeralda, will introduce the ceremony of donation and remember the great friendship with Don Carlo, his commitment to evangelization and human promotion with "Agata Smeralda". It must be right in the great love of this priest for Albania if the Agata Smeralda Project began in 2001 Bajza, with the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Child Jesus, distance support of children in need of nursery and primary school.
